On June 12, the China Manned Space Engineering Office and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs jointly organized a press conference during the 62nd session of the United Nations Committee on Outer Space Affairs in Vienna, Austria, to announce the United Nations/China space science experiment around the China Space Station. The first batch of projects was selected, and a total of 9 projects from 17 countries and 23 entities were successfully selected.
